Dhrub Free Tools separates public, source-backed guidance from the ad-free browser workspace where people handle their own files and text.
What this project is
Dhrub Free Tools is created and maintained by Dhruba Poudel. It brings together practical tools that people often pay to use: PDF preparation, OCR, official-photo checks, image and colour work, lawful direct-media saving, local audio and video conversion, writing and markup help, date and Nepal-specific conversions, barcode and QR creation, ZIP handling and data utilities.
The project is designed around a simple constraint: core processing should run on the visitor’s own device whenever a capable browser can do the job. No account is required, and the tool application has no upload API or user-content database.
Why there are two domains
dhrub.com.np contains crawlable guides, sources, limitations and project information. It may display restrained advertising after the site and owner are approved by the provider. tools.dhrub.com.np is the working Progressive Web App and remains free of advertising beside upload, camera, copy, download and conversion controls.
What “free” means
The tools do not place exports behind a subscription or account. Optional advertising on substantial public information pages can help cover hosting and maintenance, but it does not buy access to a user’s documents or text.
What the project does not promise
- Official-photo guidance does not guarantee acceptance by an authority.
- Writing tools do not guarantee factual accuracy, originality or detector evasion.
- Converters do not replace legal, surveying, financial or metrology advice.
- The media tool does not scrape social pages, bypass access controls or remove DRM.
- Local processing does not make an untrusted input file safe.
